Killer Shoulder Sess . . . Personally I recommend to go for higher reps on your shoulder workouts. The Deltoids take all the pressure all the time. The 10&12 reps work well for me. Try my killer workout for greater strength and definition. Do not rush those reps like most people do. Keep control of the exercise rather than just get over it. It's not a bloody exam at school. 🤣🙈 If you want to make a difference to your sessions be the difference. 💪🤙 Believe me, you will appreciate every rep and exercise if you slow down and focus on your technique and tempo. Week 1 of my combined Level 2/3 fitness diploma: Anatomy and Physiology of Exercise 🏋️‍♀️ . I’m really enjoying learning the details of human anatomy. You’ve probably noticed I’m a big fan of using drop sets in workouts. . You can drop set pretty much any exercise, but it works better for some lifts over others. . For example, these close-grip barbell rows are very convenient to drop set because the weight is easy to remove quickly and re-initiating the lift is fast. . So how do you know when it’s time to drop the weight in a set? If you’re performing reps to failure, then once you notice that your form is slacking, that is the time to end the set and drop the weight. . On that same token, use a weight heavy enough that you can reach failure within a sensible number of reps. You don’t want to be repping out sets of 30 at a time.

Back in the gym today to go and get a sick leg pump 👊. Yes I know I said I wouldn’t be training again until at least I find out what was up with my shoulder on Friday. But then I thought there is nothing stopping me from training legs so I’m buzzing to get back in a get a sick workout in 💯. When your phones battery is low what do you do? You run to go find the charger and charge it up right? Well... how about you give YOURSELF that SAME priority. Don't allow yourself to run on empty. Self-care is so important to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself, it will help to boost your confidence, produce positive feelings, build your self esteem and keep your stress levels minimal so you can function at full capacity. Self-care is not selfish. Self-care is self-love. You are nourishing your soul, body and mind when you can give those parts of you your full attention. Self-care will allow others to see you at your best and authentic self. When you take care of yourself regularly you will show up with the best, healthy version of yourself, you won't show up exhausted, overworked or a frantic person who had no time to take care of their needs. 5 ways I personally keep my self-care intact 1. Exercise - Exercise is probably my number 1 self-care routine which I do daily. It raises my endorphins, gets me feeling happy and confident within myself. 2. Learn a new skill. - I've been learning web development and programming for a while now, it amazes me how a year ago I didn't have a clue but now I'm all about that HTML, CSS and Javascript terminology feeling some type of geeky way but brainy at the same time 😂 3. Burn incense and sage - This is very therapeutic for me, it gives a sense of calm, positive energy and peace within my humble abode. Plus it purifies the air from any toxins or bacteria. 4. Dance - I love to have some fun and dance especially with my daughter as that is also her favourite thing to do. One way of letting it all out and expressing is through dance. 5. Sleep - Sleep is important for our bodies as it helps us repair and restore our organ systems, including our immune system our muscles and various other hormones. Find your self-care routine and make it a priority! You will only reap the benefits.

The Lateral Raise.. (swipe for video) • • As well as stronger, larger shoulders, the benefits of the lateral raise extend to increased shoulder mobility. If you brace correctly throughout the lift, your core also benefits, and muscles in the upper back, arms and neck will also feel the strain after a few sets. • • Stand with a dumbbell in each hand at your sides. Keep your back straight, brace your core, and then lift the weights out to the side until your arms are parallel with the floor, with the elbow slightly bent. Then lower them back down – you’ll find it harder if you avoid speeding up. • • Aim for 10-12 reps with good form. Selecting the correct weight is key to doing lateral raises properly and safely. Certains de nos organes ont pour charge d’évacuer les toxines de notre organisme (peau, poumons, foie, reins, intestins). _ ➡️ La détox c’est quoi ? Mis à part le fait qu’elle peut aider à perdre un peu de poids et à s’affiner, la désintoxication du foie permet de produire de la bile plus saine qui aidera votre corps à se débarrasser des toxines et à briser les graisses plus efficacement. Aussi, elle met à la disposition de votre corps plus de nutriments et réduit la charge toxique sur votre système immunitaire et digestif. En route vers une santé optimum ! _ ➡️ En résumé : Une détox permettra de soulager les émonctoires, de leur donner beaucoup moins de travail, et de mieux s’occuper des toxines déjà stockées. Ce nettoyage va permettre de purifier le corps de toutes ces substances qui affaiblissent le système immunitaire pour retrouver une vitalité physique et mentale. _ 🥝 Après une première semaine de préparation avec un jeûne spéciale et une alimentation contrôlée sur 3 jours, aujourd’hui je varie mon alimentation et ça me permet aussi de retrouver du goût. Étant en jeûne intermittent depuis des années, je fais soit un smoothie soit un repas « dur » à midi, et un jus le soir (fait avec un extracteur). J’en profite également pour faire une cure de complément alimentaire simples, je vous en parlerai dans un prochain post !
